Within 48 working hours of making your booking, we will send you an email with as many coupon codes as tickets you had booked. You can even give these coupon codes to your friends to redeem a free flight.

Redeem your free ticket using the coupon codes
Book your free* tickets on Ex-India** flights on/before 31th October, 2010 (for travel later than 15 days) by entering the coupon code on the payment step. Please read the redemption instructions below before booking.
Note:*
Only base fare is free on the "free ticket". Maximum free base fare is Rs.5000 per coupon code for one way booking for one pax. Maximum free base fare is Rs.10000 per coupon code for roundtrip booking for one pax.
** Ex-India flights are those for which your departure airport is within India and your arrival airport is outside India.
FAQ's
So, what do I need to know to redeem the free ticket?
Here goes:
- You can make the original flight booking on any airline excluding (Air Arabia, Air Asia, Tiger Airways, Bahrain Air, Air India Express) using any payment mode, however the free ticket can be redeemed only on select airlines for ex-India international flights ( List of Airline) i.e. your departure airport should be within India and your arrival airport should be outside India.
- You can redeem your free tickets only on adult or child bookings. You cannot redeem your free tickets for infant bookings.
- You need to book your free tickets using Credit or Debit card or Bank Net Banking account.on or before 31 October 2010.
- The travel date of your free ticket should be at least 15 days in the future. For example, if you are redeeming your free ticket on 10 August 2010 your travel date needs to be after 26 August, 2010.
- Also, you cannot travel on a free ticket on the following blackout dates:

- When you book your free tickets for a one-way trip you will get your base fare free upto a maximum of Rs.5,000 per coupon code. When you book your free ticket for a round trip you will get your base fare free upto a maximum of Rs.10,000 per coupon code.
- You can book & avail the offer upto a maximum of 4 times using your Credit or Debit card or Net Banking account.
- Travel must be completed before 31Oct 2010 for paid ticket.
- Your free ticket journey should be after your paid ticket journey.
- Your free ticket journey should be completed within a year from the date of issue of coupon.
- If you cancel your paid ticket journey, free ticket discount will be reversed.
- This offer will not be clubbed with any other offer.
Do I need to make any special type of booking to get a free ticket?
Yes – just two conditions. (a)
Book an international flight using your Credit or Debit card or Net Banking account, and (b) book between 3rd September, 2010 and 30th September, 2010. Apart from that – any airline, any travel date, any number of passengers. For every adult & child ticket you book you will get an equal number of free tickets. Remember, you will not get a free ticket against an infant ticket. This offer is valid on only Visa & Mastercard credit/debit cards & Net Banking.
How do I redeem the free ticket?
Within 48 working hours of making your original
flight booking, you will receive an email with the coupon codes and detailed instructions on how to use them. You need to enter the coupon codes on the payment step to redeem your free tickets.
Redeeming multiple free tickets:
You may receive multiple coupon codes depending upon how many passengers you booked originally – it's a "buy one get one free", remember?For every passenger on an
international booking (irrespective of one way or roundtrip), you will get one coupon code. Each coupon code can be redeemed for an
international booking for exactly one passenger - irrespective of one-way or roundtrip.So, if you're eligible for 8 free tickets you will get 8 different coupon codes. Each coupon code is valid for 1 passenger only. So, if you want to book a free* return trip for a family of four, you will have to enter four different coupon codes separated by commas on the payment step (4 passengers = 4 tickets = 4 coupon codes). For example you may end up entering the coupon codes like this: ICC123, ICC234, ICC345, ICC456,
I don't have anywhere to fly to? Can I share the coupons?
Sure, go right ahead. Feel free to forward the email with the coupon codes to your friend – the coupons are completely transferable. Do remember, once used by your friends, they cannot be reused by you – or vice versa.
I booked 'N' passengers, will I get 'N' free passengers?
Absolutely yes! You will get a coupon code for every adult or child you book. You will not get a coupon for an infant booking. Here's how it works:
* If you book a trip (one-way/round trip)for 3 passengers you are eligible for 3 coupon codes which you can redeem for 3 passengers for either a one-way or round trip.
Again, please remember you will get a free ticket for every adult or child ticket you have bought during the offer period, not infants.
On which sectors/routes can I redeem the free ticket(s)?
The free tickets are redeemable on all major international sectors/routes from India.
What if I cancel my free ticket?
Sorry, the free ticket is completely non-refundable. You will not get any money back if you cancel your free ticket. However, if you cancel your original ticket you will get a refund as per the airline & akbartravelsonline.com’s cancellation policies.
For the free ticket, can I change the date of travel after booking (amendment)?
Sorry, the date of travel on the free ticket can not be changed once booked. However, you are free to change the date of travel of the original ticket by paying the applicable airline & akbartravelsonline.com’s charges.
How many times can I book & avail the offer ?
You can book & avail the offer upto a maximum of 4 times using your Credit or Debit card or Net Banking account.
Help! I haven't received my coupon code. What do I do now?
Please remember that you will receive the coupon code within 48 working hours, so if you've booked your ticket on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you will receive your code on the following Monday. If you still haven't received our mail, you should check your spam/junk folder for it. In case you don't find it there, do go ahead and contact mysupport@akbartravelsonline.com or call 022 – 4066444.
